The difference is ERI TrainingA major difference between ERI and other staffing or SAP Consultancy firms is the training line-up for our employees and consultants. This is a combination of
All employees receive an in-house orientation for all of our employees, called Staff Status Zero. It covers frequently asked questions and the corporate structure which gives our employees the knowledge to keep internal information and communication organized and efficient. The product of this short course is an employee who knows the work position in the corporation, the relationship to our partner companies, and what is expected of them.
Also for all employees, SAP Functional consultants as well as administrative staff, is Staff Status 1– educating the employee in how to learn and study more quickly and thoroughly. This is done in house as well, and additionally teaches personal statistics and applicable formulas for ongoing professional improvement. Finally an overview of SAP gives them an understanding of the relationship between the system’s integrator and the client, mistakes to avoid and the purpose of their position within the project. The product of Staff Status 1 is an employee who knows SAP terminology and is extremely effective in getting results and products delivered, in alignment with what is needed and wanted by ERI’s clients.
Here is an overview of the training steps for the functional consultants in our “bootstrap” program (entry level SAP consultants):
Staff Status 2 - This is done remotely while working on the client's projects and includes a course in SAP in their specific industry (e.g. Utilities with a utilities glossary), an overview and subscription for the SAP IDES server, SAP Network and ASUG. We have found, through our experience that the best, most effective training is on the job and actually implementing a full life cycle. During Staff Status 2, we also offer our staff any training needed in their modules, whether it be online or for a short seminar provided by SAP at our expense. We have found that this program makes very flexible, competent staff very quickly, which is the product of Staff Status 2.
Staff status 3 is done after one full lifecycle is completed and is instructor-led. This professional development series includes a communication course designed to make a staff member an expert in the giving and receiving of professional communication, which we have found to be particularly important in this field. This also includes a course called The Problems of Work. This course allows the employee to analyze the problems that arise in the work-a-day world and to apply effective solutions. We have found this to be extremely useful in raising the efficiency and effectiveness of staff members in any endeavor of their lives. The final course product is a staff member who can give and receive professional communication and be in control of their productivity.
Executive Status is done after the second life cycle. This has three different courses named: Effective Leadership, How to Get Things Done and Executive Basics. These executive courses create a team leader who will always be on the top of your list for any project. A graduate of the Executive Status can effectively control and delegate work to any group from two to one thousand and do it effectively.
